I'm reading Silas Marner, because my son's home ed group are doing it in their book club this half term. I'm enjoying it, but I don't think my son will like it much. Not enough explosions.

A few weeks ago, I finished a book about Babylon's millenia long history, the evolution of societies, varied invasions, and fall of thje empire.
I have just finished another very interesting book about Palmyre's history - it was already mentioned in the babylon one - , and how it evolved from Tadmor to a bunch of ruins.
Then, I read a theatrical adaptation from Atar's poem '"he conference of the birds"- which I still plan on reading - and it's quite a nice esoteric composition
I started a psychology book about cyclothymia, once I finish it, I plan to go on to another one regarding emotions, and then get back to read the the one I had started a few weeks ago, about Pluto/ Hades myths, and their link in astrology
