How do people find time to do exercise every day? I suppose you have to FIND and MAKE time. I cant stand exercise. Its boring when I'm doing it and makes me feel tired and wobbly after. I like the idea of it but the reality is very different I fear I love exercise. I know i am sad but i like doing sit ups and weights. It makes me feel better and it gets rid of stress. I only fine time because i work at a gym, kind of easy for me and i feel guilty watching everyone exercise while i sit at the desk reading Yesterday i did. 100 crunches, Some weights, leg curls, tricep dips, walking on the treadmill, 5 mins on the stepper.

I know what you mean about loving exercise Puff. I've just got back into it over the past few weeks and feel alot better about myself too.
Today I took the dogs for a half hr walk this morning and then went to the gym for a swim, sauna, jacuzzi and steam............ Bliss!

ROFL! That reminds me of the first time I went ice skating Maya. Then I had lessons and went several times a week.
Today I went swimming. I did my usual 30 lengths in the pool, then had a jacuzzi, steam and sauna.
Now at work, trying to while away the next 7 hours.

lately I've been doing yoga every day, up to 1 and a half hours, I wonder if this could get too much, but I know people who practice 2 hours a day. Feels a lot better doing it daily.

Been in and out the gym several times this week either swimming or doing some cardio in the gym. Know what you mean about yoga making you feel better Applecrumble. Wish there were more yoga classes at my gym as would like to go more often.

can practice yoga at home, but still need a class to learn, and prevent bad habits. I normally do 3-5 days a week at home plus a class.

You do well Applecrumble. I actually feel more relaxed if I do my yoga dvd at home, rather than in a class. Always scared I'm gonna fart!!!
2 long dog walks today and a swim at the gym.

I got back on the diving boards on Wednesday for the first time in months - I broke my cheekbone in July and it's only just feeling strong enough to withstand the impact. I dived like a sack of potatoes being thrown off a cliff, but at least I'm back in the water.

I used to be a long distance runner until a few years ago and need to get back to it as I am putting on too much weight My best times where 57 mins for 10 miles and 1hr 17 mins for half marathon. I also used to do a bit of gym work but prefer running especially in the warmer weather. I think my job delivering parcels used to help me keep fit but since I switched to a more countryside area my deliveries are less and I am behind the wheel more and it's not good for my waistline

Ooooooh I found the exercise threads ;D I'm a fanatical powerlifter and lift 4 times a week focusing on the three big lifts and assistance work to improve them (Squat, Bench, Deadlift). Additionally, I started Muay Thai in september last year and practice around 5 hours a week. So essentially, all my time is spent training or working to pay for the training and all the eating that has to be done to be able to train. I love it Doing Muay Thai has shifted my focus somewhat - although powerlifting is my first love, and probably what I will always be best at, i'm rapidly moving towards taking up some sort of grappling based martial art, with the hope of transition to MMA next year. I just love fighting, even though i'm still shite right now. I also run. I used to be an avid fan, however Muay Thai has replaced running as my obsession, so now I only get out occasionally with the dogs. I do CV at the gym too, mainly cycling for my knee rehab and cross training to increase stamina for Muay Thai.
