Good stuff:Getting near or at the front for most of my fave bands. We were right at the front for Panic! At The Disco, Fall Out Boy, Hawthorne Heights and Alexisonfire. Kyle being given a plectra used by Hawthorne Heights. A food stand selling vegan food, even though it was £4 for a veggieburger. Nice weather Loads of people going 'awww' at Kyle and comments like 'Hey kid your cool. When I grow up I want to be you'! Pete Wentz from Fall Out Boy smiling at Kyle. Someone asking me if Kyle was my little brother and being shocked when I said he was my son because she thought I was only about 18 Bad StuffKyle throwing up in the tent on Friday night Not being able to get a good place in the crowd for My Chemical Romance. Why do so many other people have to like them? I had to lift Kyle on my back for almost the whole performance which was agony and my back is still aching! Kyle getting a bit crushed in the mosh pit at Taking Back Sunday Stupid security being over zealous on Sunday causing long queues of people waiting to get in the arena and making me miss 5 minutes of Aiden. Also it was stupid that they wouldn't let you take bottles of water in but they'd let you take empty bottles and refill them in the arena WTF! The toilets Best PerformanceFall Out Boy. My Chemical Romance are still my fave band but I didn't enjoy them as much as I'd have like because of what I mentioned above

Sounds like a fantastic weekend. If Steve is there next year, I am hoping to be there too, even if I have to work to do it!!
Did you see Muse at all? I saw them on TV from Reading on Saturday, and Steve video phoned me from the side of the stage last night to see them (very very cool!). I am seeing them in November and I can't wait!
It depends on how friendly Steve gets with the production team as to whether he can get any VIP stuff. Sometimes they are cool, othertimes they are over zealous. Also, it depends how many people the bands bring with them. He couldn't get near the stage on Sautrday to show me the Kaiser Chiefs as they had so many friends and family there. If I'd been able to go this year, I'd probably have been stuck backstage, hearing the bands and not seeing anything!
Apparently, the security were really over zealous for the whole weekend, making the crew show their passes every time they went anywhere, even if they'd just shown them!
Still, I am so jealous of everyone who went, I've always wanted to go, and the bands this year were fantastic!
;D

coolest momentGogol Bordello - One of the drummers threw his big drum into the crowd then dived in after it. he then managed to climb on top of the drum, so he's stood on top of his drum on top of the crowd, still playing it best gigProbably 'Sick of it all' for me, not necessarily the best performance but i was in the mosh pit, there was tradtional punk ultra violence going on ;D kid next to me had his nose broke i absolutley loved it ;D stupidest momentme and minxy were waiting to see gogol bordello, got near enough to the front, could believe how quiet it was, then wonder why they were 5mins late. then realised we were in the wrong bloody tent by then the NME stage was so full we had to stand outside and watch it on the screen annoying momentAt reading you have to take a ferry to the car park, we took our stuff back to the car on sunday, but there was about an hours wait for the ferry back (supposed run ever 10mins) and we missed the dresden dolls which was top of both our lists for the weekend winner of the bee gees look a like compEdde Vedder ;D ;D

Sounds like a good weekend!
Tickets are on sale for next year already, but I worry that the bands won't be as good. I have the kind of luck where I could pay out for a ticket and then not like any of the bands! (Unlikely, but you should see my luck!!)

when panic at the disco were playing the lead singer fell off the stage and knocked himself out I heard someone say a bottle of water was thrown at him and hit square on the side of the head Yeah he did mention that. You Reading people are a bunch of hooligans. A lot of the bands said we were a better crowd than the the Reading lot Bunny you will hate me for this but I left early yesterday before Muse. I'm not a fan but my best friend is. If I could have got my wristband off she could have had it. What a shame. Yesterday Alexisonfire were the last band I wanted to see and then we left.

No I won't ever be going to Reading. Its bad enough not being allowed your car next to your tent without having to deal with ferries aswell

(Unlikely, but you should see my luck!!) Yeah I know what you mean Bunny. I couldn't believe how many good bands there were. Thats the first time I've ever been to a music festival coz usually loads of the bands playing have been sh*t but this year was amazing. Do you know when they know who will be playing next year?

(Unlikely, but you should see my luck!!) Thats what i did last year, i bought 4. i guessed if there was nothing i liked i would sell them. To be honest i just love going for the festival, there wasn't a great deal i wanted to see this year but still had a good time. unsure at the moment whether i can afford to be tickets this year, theres always the plastic i guess

I had a great time ;D. Possibly spent a bit too much time in the tent drinking and sleepibng and not enough time watching bands though. I blame VBB for that . I'm quite glad to get home though, my feet were killing me by the end of the festival.
