Well Done, VBB, Yummy and Tabs. Think the nice sunny weather is an inspiration to us all.
Just been out for a 2 hour walk at Box Hill with the dogs full of near cliffs and yep fell on my bum off one of the steep rocks. Am absolutely shattered.
Also had a half hour walk with the dogs this morning.

Ok I've got off to a bad start, i have been drunk every day since thursday This is what i'm aiming for, i am going to struggle to start in ernest until my parties are done as i have so much to arrange. But here goes. Goals Not too worried about weight, but want to decrease body fat, i tend to put weight on when i start weight training. I want to increase 'tone' and strength. I also aim to compete in the push up comp at the london fayre (assuming they repeat it). I have always divided my work outs as follows:- 1. back / biceps 2. chest /triceps 3. shoulders / legs i'll post the details as i do each workout. each weight session is proceeded, initially, by a minimum of 30mins CV usually two from row, bike, run, cycle, xtrainer. Each workout is then finished of with a 15min swim (usually quite leisurely to cool down). On a legs day i tend to do more cv work and make sure i include bike and x trainer. I'm off to london thursday and away the weekend but hope to get a couple of sessions in next week ;D

How in blazes did you manage to run for an hour after not having done so for 5 years? Can I borrow some of whatever is you have? I haven't done anything lately and my joints are starting to creak and ache.

i was out for about 1 1/2 hrs and it was a mix of run/jog/walk.
i used to be really fit although never a good runner, change of job and moving house means less active work and no gym. if i go to the gym i usually do 45mins cv so although i carry a few extra lbs i am reasonably fit(ish)
going walking/jogging again tonight ;D

I have done no physical exercise (as such....) since I dont know when I have lost all interest in it. Hopefully my enthusiasm for fitness will come back before I hit the 30 stone mark.....

I'm not fit at all and need to lose weight so I am thinking about getting into Rosemary Conley classes soon (I know a vegan who did this very successfully and her veganism was not a problem). I like the idea of Rosemary Conley better than Weight Watchers because it seems like it includes both diet and exercise rather than just dieting.
Anyone got any experience of these kind of clubs?
The only pitfall at the moment is the local community centre where they hold the classes because it is not a smoke-free building and smoke from the bar drifts about the place, but I am sure the Rosemary Conley classes are in a morning when the bar is closed so most likely there will not be a smoke problem after all (I'm still awaiting confirmation of this before I commit to it).

I just exercised my jaw, throat and stomach muscles by eating a huge chick pea laced salad. I assume a few hours from now, I’ll exercise my bowels as well. Ahh, the joy of exercise.
