A while ago (as many of you know I'm interested in alternative health and medicine) I was studying a course to become a naturopath. Anyway, due to my mum being ill, moving house and work not helping me out with swapping shifts I had to drop out. Anyway, I've just enrolled in a part time course to become a Naturopathic Nutritionist and start on the 24th September and intend to sticking to this course now. It's a 2 to 3 year course and I'm really looking forward to it and pursuing a career where I can help people make a positive choice about their health. Can't wait!

A belated good luck with it Tiggs. Are you going to still work? I've got to be honest its tough doing both and I didn't have to worry about shifts. But if you love it you'll stick to it.

Thanks!
Yep, still gonna work. Luckily I'll be able to do alot of the studying while I am at work anyway, he he he!
The added bonus is when I qualify, I will be able to nicely tell all my clients the benefits of a vegan diet and hopefully win some over!

Well I went today and really enjoyed myself.
Am shattered after a long day but the teaching was brill and she made it enjoyable for everyone. Got loads of coursework to get on with, but has really inspired me into knowing that at least I won't be stuck in my boring old job for eternity and I actually have a vocation around the corner now. Yay!

Nice one Tiggs, stick with it, it'll be worth it. And boring work is a great time to get those assignments done.
What qualification will you get at the end of it?

GRRR! Well I was at college yesterday and all our lecturer could go on about was "bloody vegans" that looked ill and was mocking them. Am beginning to wonder why I paid out for this course when all the money goes to this woman each month. Am so mad and when I went to politely speak out, she turned her back on me. Mad, mad, mad!
Oh Squizzaroo, the qualification I will get at the end of it will be a diploma in naturopathic nutrtion, although the mood I'm in, don't know if I want to be helping people like her profit!
