Tofu and black bean? Without the egg fried rice obviously?
Do you reckon it will be ok? Really can't be bothered to cook tonight!

It may be fine, but you need to ask them. Check for chicken stock though. Apparently eggplant and black bean is nice and deep fried tofu in sweet and sour sauce is a good option.

I used to get takeaways until I discovered they fry meat products in the same oil as non-meat products. I asked around quite a few places and they all admitted they do this so I haven't got anything from them since. I really miss curry chips!

I got a chinese takeaway last week. After I carefully explained what I do and don't eat, the lady who served me marked everything on the menu that was vegan, but then while I was waiting for it to arrive, she asked me what the difference between a vegan and a vegetarian is. Eating out is always a risk.

I did ask them if there was any animal ingredients in the curry sauce and they assured me there wasn't. I explained to them exactly what I meant by animal ingredients i.e. no meat or chicken stock or milk, cream, eggs etc. I make my own curry sauce and any recipes I've found for it doesn't have animal ingredients............it's usually just oil, flour, and curry powder! It's actually a very simple sauce to make! Oh, I forgot to say you need water too in that recipe!
