Heya all =]
I'm sorry if this isn't the right board to post this in =]
Over the past month or so I get really ill when I eat anything with dairy in (i.e nausea, bad indigestion, headaches, constipation etc). Is it possible that I could have developed a dairy intolerance?
I know that may be a bane to some people, but I've always wanted to be vegan, just never had the willpower to stick with it. But now I have a valid reason.
My question is: How can I make the transition go as smoothly as possible? I have tried Soya and Oat milk before and they both made me ill
Much Love -Anni-

Have you tried different brands of soya milk as they all taste different? There is also rice milk which is nice.

How do you use milk - to drink on it's own, over cereals, in coffee, etc?
I like nut milks. Almond and hazelnut are good.
I've reduced my son's milk intake by giving him fruit smoothies (some times made with soya or nut milk too) instead. He likes porridge made with chocolate soya milk instead of dairy.

many ppl are lactose intollerent... more than officials tell us, since they want to sell their dairy products, which they elevate to a sacred position, whilst it's made only for the calf... we are the only race who normally uses another race's milk, it's so odd... but, i'm preaching to the choire so i'll move on & say that indeed, vegetal milks such as soy, nuts, rice, are all good, but some ppl may be intollerent to nuts... rice milk is the softest i ever drank, but it's rather expensive still & can get it in organic stores only, in france that is... there are most brands for soy milks & i can find them even in regular super & mini markets, for around the same price (1 to 1.5 € which is 0.6 to 1 £), but each brand makes it with slightly sifferent quantities, so check them out...
