Can anyone recommend a very fluffy, warm duvet? In the past I loved duck down which is now an obvious no no,so is there anything out there that compares?

I don't know anything specific, but googling it should yield some results. If that fails, then I can't help you. I recommend posting where, approximately in the world you are; so we have a better idea of what is available to you. If I misinterpreted what you're asking about, then I've heard that polyester is a good material for duvets. Here's something that may help: Click me.

Greenfibres - www.greenfibres.com - do an organic cotton / kapok duvet which has a TOG rating of 10-11. It's expensive though (£233 for a double).

Thank you, however £233 is totally beyond my budget. but kapok would be softer than polyester and less sweaty.

I just use a hollowfibre duvet and keep the heating on in winter. I've never found it to be sweaty.

I use hollowfibre too. It's not fluffy like down but it's warm enough.

Ok I will go for hollow fibre but perhaps a good brand. I went to Green fibres in Totnes, Devon and they had a kapok/cotton duvet there and I had a feel of it, it seemed very thin. I told my partner about it and the cost and he fell about laughing saying at that money you wouldn't want to sleep under it but hang it on the wall!
