I love writing and reading other peoples poems. Do you have any you wanna share?? I like this one...I dont know who wrote it.
Genuine
Sometimes the only thing That is truly genuine In life is that which Hasn’t been touched or Tampered Yet sometimes those Who are most genuine Are those who have been Touched Tampered and Broken

A friend of mine wrote this when he was suffering quite badly with an eating disorder. He's gone through ten years of getting well, then falling back into it. And he often goes back to this when he's at his worst again. Not the cheeriest of things to share with you, I'm afraid and it's kinda simple, but I like it nonetheless... If OnlyYou're my sugar-coated Heart-ache blister Is it understandable, The way that I can miss you? How can something as simple As a pin-prick on a board Tear apart my body Like a throat to a sword? The coldness of December In the middle of May Is it right to do nothing As I deteriorate this way? 'Friends can always tell' Is what she said to me Just tear off the mask To see reality Wrapped in the tissues, kept in the bin Have to keep everything out of sight Wishing I was that feather, So beautiful and light x
