Why do vegans eat cocoa (I have seen heaps of vegan brownie recipes with cocoa) when it has milk in it?

Cocoa is vegan. No milk in there. Unless New Zealand type cocoa is different from English type cocoa....

Drinking chocolate often has milk in it, but cocoa doesn't. You should be able to find it in most stores. It may be labelled as Baking Cocoa.
