ok so I followed the recipe here lowcarbdiets.about.com/od/pizza/r/soylowcarbpizza.htm for the crust, I used 2 flax eggs and instead of that 1/2c. of protein powder I used 1/2 c. splet flour. and followed directions, I did have to wet my hands alot to spread the dough out. Anyway I had some home made hummus that has alot of garlic in it, so after the crust was about done I spread a layer of that on it then I added fresh black olives, onions and fresh sliced tomatoes. I then added some seasoning like italian and parsley and drizzled a little grapeseed oil over it and put it back in the oven, this is awesome!! Have to try it!! Here is a picture of the finished pizza also make sure you dont spread it to thin and make sure your pan is well greased.

Wow! My husband has always put hummus on his pizza (we just use the ready made bases and supermarket hummus though as we are lazy). I thought we were the only ones who did that with hummus, but it does work really well, although most people seem sceptical about hummus on pizza! It looks really good.

I used to only buy the store brand hummus, but after I discovered how good and cheaper it was to make my own I haven't gone back! I bet tomato sauce would be good on it too, but I think the hummus is so flavorful and it kinda seems like a cheese......enjoy
