Toad in the Hole
INGREDIENTS
o 85 g / 2 oz / 1/3 cup margarine o 285 g / 10 oz / 2 1/2 cups flour o Pinch of sea salt o 2 t baking powder o 570 ml / 19 oz / 2 1/2 cups soyamilk o 455 g - 680 g / 1 - 1 1/2 lb vegan sausages
METHOD Melt margarine.
In a bowl, combine the flour, salt, baking powder, melted margarine and soymilk.
Place the sausages in a greased casserole dish. Pour the batter over them.
Bake at 245F/224C for about 15 minutes, then at 350F/180C for a further 15-20 minutes.

This might win the stupid question of the year award, but do you cook the sausages before putting the batter on, or put them in frozen?

I think they should be lightly cooked if using frozen.

I would check the cooking time on the packet of sausages (if it has it for baking rather than frying/grilling). If it specifies a longer time or higher temp than that in Luap's recipe, cook 'em a bit first.
