Ok, so it's not a recipe but, I came across this online shop today: www.natco-online.com/that stocks the most amazing range of ingredients for indian cuisine. They don't label their stuff as suitable for vegans, but they list the ingredients and most of their stuff is animal-free.

My best friend is Indian, Sikh... I go to his house, his mother & him cook a lot, sooo nice!
- pea curry, usually comes with paneer cheese (dont add that!) - its amazing, kinda like a cross-over with soup! -sag aloo (spinach and potato) - aloo gobi (potato & cauliflower) - dhaal soup (chickpeas) - chickpea curry... with oily pancakes to eat them with, and poppadoms.. etc
amazing... thats the meals i had last time i stayed there for a weekend,
ladies & gents, make indian friends, theyre lovely people, theyre calm, hospitable, & caring!
plus, they make the tastiest of food, (even made baked beans taste indian - cheers sohan!) and they drink alcohol, maybe too much! aha.
so you'll never be stuck for company, and you'll always have a plate. or bowl of food ready, as they make enough for the whole of birmingham (holding no prejudices, that just so happens to be wheres Sunny is from, not a dig at the population, kk??!)
