My right arm is injured after an accident at the weekend, and I find it hard to move, most of the time it is in a sling.
I normally enjoy cooking, so last night I cooked this simple snack to have ready for Mrs Cat when she came home from work.
1 Onion, chopped into quarters then peeled and re-chopped, (this is the best way to do it with one hand, and you need a very sharp knife)
Fry the onion on high heat until starting to brown, then add a mug of water and a stock cube and simmer for 5 mins.
Add 1 tablespoon of egg-replacement powder as thickener, (or cornflour will do)
At the same time, boil a pan of pasta and drain off.
Mix the Onion sauce with the pasta and add soy sauce to taste.
Yum - quick pasta snack, (one handed) ;D ;D ;D

I think if I tried to chop an onion one handed it would go zinging across the room and brain somebody. Might not have the same number of fingers after the attempt either...

Quite. You're allowed to have chocolate and crisps for dinner when you're injured. It's the Law.

I'm having this for my tea now but with noodles instead of pasta. Is yummy with a sprinkling of nutritional yeast flakes. Thanks Matt
