A petition has been initiated on the No.10 Downing Street website at petitions.pm.gov.uk/animaltesting/ by the Dr Hadwen Trust calling on the government to publish and commit to a timetable for the total replacement of animal experiments with more modern, ethical and scientifically reliable non-animal techniques. If you would like to support this call, please sign the petition now and forward to colleagues, members/supporters, friends or any other interested individuals.

I've signed too. I was saddened to see stupid petitions in favour of: 1)bringing back 'tail-docking' of dogs (in those that are now considered traditionally tail-docked dogs) 2)overturning the anti-hunt ban!
