I just received my first order from Vegetalia - www.vegetalia.co.uk/index.html - most, but not all of their stuff is vegan. With my package they also included some biscuits that I hadn't ordered, but the ingredients are written in Spanish, so I went on their website to check if they are vegan. They're not listed yet, so I tried translating through Babel Fish. All looks ok apart from one ingredient that translates as 'to azucar integral of grey hair'!! *Wonders whether to risk it*

Azucar is sugar isn't it? Not sure how you'd get it from grey hair though...

I think you must be right. There are sugar crystals on them, and sugar isn't one of the other listed ingredients. Or it could be dandruff from the grey hair ...

Oh well, I ate them anyway. They were very nice even though they look a little like dog poops.

The offending ingredient is called:
AZÚCAR INTEGRAL DE CAÑA
That should be a straight line rather than a tilda over the 'n' but I couldn't find the right html code for it.

Wouldn't that just be cane sugar?
