No, it was about vivisection. An ex-vicar was speaking against it and a woman whose son has some disease (muscular dystrophy or motor neurone disease, I think) was speaking in support of it. She has already had one child die. Obviously, she or her husband are carrying genes that will continue to result in sick children. Of course, she would do anything to find a cure for her son but experimenting on other species is not the answer. As the vicar said, if the time and money that goes into vivisection was devoted to proper science, there would be more chance of finding cures.

I couldn't believe the stupidity of the pro lot on there or the people that contacted the show - "only a few monkey are used" " animals don't feel pain so what's the problem" I wonder if they have pets , if so I would love to ask them if we could take them away to be put in a lab to be tested on , then see what they say. And I thought interviewing people you had to stay neutral and just get the conversation going, unlike Gloria did. You would have thought seeing as she lost her duaghter to cancer she would be open minded to find better ways of finding cures not want to stick to animal testing that didnt help her duaghter!!!!! I was shouting at the telly again that day and I could hear my friend who lives about 200miles away doing the same lol.
