www.dollarsordog.com.au/Please take the time to complain to Pepsi about their latest campaign. Pepsi is currently promoting an Australian competition where one can win a greyhound and race it to win 100,000 dollars. "Dollars or the Dog" www.dollarsordog.com.au/game_v2.swf (turn down the volume!). Pepsi commercials are running in Australia promoting this competition. It basically involves consumers entering a competition in which they can choose the prize if they win. The prizes being $5,000 or "the Dog" (ownership of a greyhound who will race with the possibility of prize money of $100,000). Prizes are given away daily. You can visit the Greyhound Racing NSW website to see for yourself. Friends of the Hound, along with a number of other animal welfare groups & animal-loving community members are very disappointed & somewhat disgusted that this multinational corporation has chosen to promote Greyhound racing and the industry which causes thousands of "surplus" greyhounds each year to be killed. We find it distasteful & irresponsible, and will be voicing our concerns in a letter to Pepsi. You too can show your support of Greyhounds by boycotting Pepsi products & writing a letter of complaint about this promotion to.... Mr Alex Stevens CEO Pepsi Australia Holdings PO Box 179 Chatswood NSW 2057 Australia We all know the exploitation & suffering placed upon these beautiful dogs by Greyhound racing. Please help.
