I think it just has to come down to your own personal list of ethics , I rate not eating meat most highly, so for me Happidog was more ethical (as in followed my ethics) than Burns, burns isnt a vegetarian food, they produce meat products. Im sure I read somewhere that Burns are selling out anyway to a major manufacturer, although could be wrong. I know Benevo are a small company in the UK. I need to check them out a bit more thoroughly. I just went on the fact it was recommended to me and on the Veggiepets website. Unless you home cook your companion animals food, and know that single solitary ingredient was produced ethically, including the seeds if you homegrow, then I doubt anyone will find a completely ethical food. sad isnt it. Ive posted this a reply on the other thread too
