awwwwww that is soooooooo cute , I cant wait to hopefully one day get a house witha big enough garden so I can home some rescue guinea pigs and rabbits.
I remember when I was 13 I got two baby guinea pigs , got told they live for about 4years. Well myne lived for just under ten years!!! So be warned lol.

We had one for 10 years, the average seems to be 5-6. Some ive rescued have only lived 12 months, but a nice comfy, well fussed 12 months! Got to look at the hutch in the garage, think id need a shuffle round but am keen on this one! Parents not keen but then I dont see having another one will cause any problems (i usually just do my own thing when it comes to rescue creatures!) Alison

Awwwwwwwwww a guinea piggywiggy They shouldn't be kept alone though and hutches are too small IMO. I make my own cages from storage cubes

I know, they are best living with friends, or small colonys, but his history was he was with a friend but the 'owner' split them whilst away for 6 weeks coming home thinking they would still be fine with each other not the case. Hes been tried with other guineas. Ive had rescues before who 'seemed' happy enough on their own. Id love my own house where i could have my own guinea pig indoor homemade crates, but at the moment ive only got outdoor but well sheltered hutches to offer. Hard to decide whats for the best, he does need a new home soon as the lady concerned is visiting a rescue up North and would like to bring 4 new guineas back for rehoming, so really needs the accomodation/space. Hes eating well, but is a little nervous at the mo, he will hopefully settle in today whilst im at work, and hope to get photos tonight, if hes happy to come in.
Am going to look for a new hutch soon, bit bigger for him.
Its a guinea pig week at the mo as im trying to sort some others out who are not in the best of states - might post about it soon, but need to be careful with the situation.
