As I've been gradually adding bits to the main site every now and then I've just finished updating my animal piccies. I still have the 2 collies to add, but they're on a short holiday at the moment till we move house, so will post pics of them when we get them back in a few weeks. Here's some pics of Gizmo, Tigger, Amy, Potty, Stuart, Benjy, Splish, Splash and Splosh. If for some reason as I know my PC was doing it earlier only loads up with the original pics press the refresh key as it seems to be a little quirk this site has. Here's the link: www.everythingvegan.co.uk/myfurbabies.htm

Awwww, they are so cute! Amy looks like my Queen! I hope you get pictures of your dogs up soon. Are there any aspiring bloggers in your menagerie? Your blogging forum is still empty.

You're right about Amy looking like your Patty. They look like 2 peas in a pod! Hmm, Gizmo and Tigger seem to be willing volunteers, so will see if one of them will start doing a "Paws for thought" blog tomorrow! Good idea.

Tiggerwoos your bun looks like Ringo, my bunny. As you are a rabbit person I will tell you my Ringo woes. Ringo was bought home by Steve when he was a tiny bun. I wasnt asked, he just came home with him in his pocket. Luckily one of my customers had a hutch, so we put him in that. Steve was good at first and paid heaps of attention to Ringo, he was in the house everyday being cuddled and hopping around trying to molest the cat. However, yes you guessed it, the novelty has worn off. I have Ringo in when I can, which is not very often, probably twice a week if that. He has started to get a bit aggressive. He hates being picked up, but is ok when hopping about the house and will plonk himself down beside you for a stroke etc. I feel so bad for him though. I dont know whether to send him to a bunny rescue centre or keep him. I dont feel hes got much of a life. I worry about him all the time. What would you do

Could you move him indoors maybe? Some people keep theirs bunnies indoors. That way he wouldn't be so lonely

If buns are gonna be kept outdoors, then they should (this is only going from my work at the rabbit rescue) then they should really have a partner. When we move I would like to bond Benjy with a girlfriend but for now he has company with the animals and us. This is because bunnies are socialble creatures and have a big need for companionship. It is also best to get a partner of the opposite sex, but make sure both have had the snip, not just for the obvious reasons, but spaying reduced the chance of uterine cancer in females and also stops hormonal fighting.
Also rabbits should ideally if they are outdoors have a minimum of a 6x4 shed that has been insulated and has heating and a light on a timer with fox proof wire on an internal door, plus access to a supervised secure run on a preferably daily basis for at least an hour a day.
That would probably cheer your bun up.
Second suggestion which is what Benjy does as Squirrel mentioned, try bringing him in permanantly. Our bun has a dog crate that would go in the car, but is under our breakfast bar which he uses as his hidey hole with a litter tray, although he prefers the cats! and a tunnel. ball, his food, water bowl and blanket to sleep on. Its easy to clean as only takes 5 mins a day and is bigger than a hutch. Then you could leave the door open when you're in the house, and let him hop in and out then just shut him in while you're out. You will find that most rabbits litter train theirselves pretty quickly as they're hygenic and like to cover their own mess.
Warning, watch any cables...... rabbits like to nibble and it gets expensive (trust me laptop cables don't come cheap!) or you could have a fried bunny.
Hope this helps Tabi!

Wow, Katy is stunning! Is she Russian Blue? She looks too slender to be British? Thank you, yes she is a Russian Blue. She's one posh pussy and spends most of her time lounging on our bed, or if its cold IN our bed!
