I've just discovered that my migralive contain gelatine . I've been taking them for over 20 yrs and kept forgetting to check the ingredients til tonight Does anyone know of anything that helps migraine that is vegan and about the same strength? I'm hypersensitive to drugs so can't take anything too strong. I've tried feverfew and it was useless for me

Have found that some of the Nurofen tablets seem to be lactose free & vegetarian so I think that could mean vegan. Only problem is they contain Ibrufen which I'm not supposed to take Pants

Try sniffing essential oil of peppermint the moment you feel one coming on. I used to suffer from migraines, and this always worked, but only if I started sniffing the oil immediately. Once the migraine gets going sniffing the oil won't stop it, though it will relieve it a little bit.
I don't get them anymore since going on an anti-candida program last year.

and maybe drink peppermint tea on regular basis... altho chronic migraines might indicate a core problem never taken care off.. make sure you drink enough water (7-9 cups a day in winter.. extra cups when being physicall, and up to double the cups on hot summer days)
if this isn't enough yet, your migraines could mean that you're eating something you're not supposed to & you don't know it... food allergies are trickky as ppl tend to crave that one thing they can't have....

Thanks for that guys, I have peppermint oil & tea so I'll try those out and I'll look into the links too. Wabbit, I have ME/CFS which gives me lots of food sensitivities which could be causing some of them. I suffer from constant inflamed sinisus so think inflation from the ME could be another factor. I gave up wheat & chocolate and didn't have any for 6 weeks last spring but then I got a virus and my ME got worse and they started up again

I also like to rub peppermint oil into my head where the pain is and especially on the temples. That helps a lot.
