I haven't been eating properly since this thread was started and now I'm in a vicious cycle of not eating properly because I feel crap and feeling crap because I'm not eating properly. Oh dear .

Enchantress, have you lost your appetite is that what you mean? you need to eat some soul food, how about making yourself some lovely wholesome soup with chunky fresh bread to kick start your appetite?

Emotionally speaking, I'm not too good at the moment. I have depression and anxiety. When I'm depressed I lose interest in food and when I'm anxious it goes straight to my stomach and I feel unable to eat . Not eating properly affects me emotionally, so it can be really hard to get out of the cycle once it's started. Vegetable soup sounds like a good idea, I could eat a little bit of that and it would give me lots of nice vitamins and minerals to make me feel better.

I know exactly how you feel, I've been in that dark place too... but if your body starts to suffer then it'll make everything 10 times worse...
Go make some veggie soup young lady!

I am like that minxy. If i have problems i cant eat much at all. I manage to eat dinner but i can go the rest of the day without eating. I find chewing a problem so i agree soup would be much better than trying to force yourself to eat something stodgy. You do need to look after yourself though so please try and eat some soft fruit, soup, plenty of fruit juice. I had scrambled Tofu yesterday and that was easy to eat so maybe that can be another option.

I ordered a veggie burger and chips at Wetherspoons, but after one mouthful it tasted cheesey so I couldnt eat it. I t shouldnt have been and I did ask the waitress and I got Pob to check the website, but something about it smelt and tasted cheesey.

I wonder if it had been stored with or cooked by a cheeseburger? I hope they are not changing things there - one of the only pubs you can eat in as a vegan Jacket pots tonight with a savoury veggie mince mix and pile of veggies. Parents back from their hols tonight - be nice to see them but have been able to spread out in whole house! Trifle for pud ;D

Yeah it's not very healthy that one. Ingredients are sugar and fat and that's about it. Nice in a very small amount.

Speaking of vegan pubs my friend Mimi has moved literally next door to a pub serving vegan food. How cool is that!! We went the other day and I had hummus and salad on a ciabatta with chips and salad. I know its only basic but a least they went to the effort of stating on the menu several veggie and a couple of vegan meals. They even made up a dressing special for us without honey.

I went to a local pub with my Mum last night. They had 5 vegan mains on the menu ;D and all of the puddings apart from 2 were vegan, including stuff like spotted dick with custard. It's run by a vegetarian couple and the pub garden is full of rescued animals. I think I might be eating out more often.

Thanks Eschar Blacke, so can I save that smiley on here? next to the standard ones? sorry I am really computer illiterate!! haha Nope You can, however, make a bookmark of it or copy+paste the address into a text file and when you want to use it, type [ img]http://address.of/smiley/[ /img] (without the spaces in the tags ) It's a bit of trouble, but if you really like some smileys you could do that :]
