I have tried 3 times to order t-shirts from them. The 1st one my bank cancelled coz a couple of days earlier someone tried using my number to buy cinema tickets and some other stuff, luckily it failed. So the bank had to cancell all 2 of my online shopping trips. So I had to contact cafepress and explain why my card did not work. The 2nd times as with this most recent attempt they have asked for my bank name to confirm my payment so that they can carry out the transaction and get my t-shirts to me. Is this normal? They already have my card details. Shall I just reply saying the name of my bank or are they dodgy? www.cafepress.com/

They wouldn't need the name of your bank to do a transaction as other companies don't and it sounds suspicious that someone tried using your card details shortly after.
I'd be very wary and not give any more details and keep an eye out or advise your bank of what has happened.

I forgot to mention they cancelled my card and I got a new one. The attempted use of my card was before I made an order at cafepress.

I have used Cafepress - in fact I've had a couple of shops with them in the past, and they are reputable. They will only be asking for your bank name to confirm that you are the genuine owner of the card, as there has been a problem with it.

hi thx everyone who replied , I asked a few people in USA of their experiences with it and they all came back with praise for them,so I went ahead with my order. They were very apologetic and promised to have my order out to me asap. I cannot wait ,as I have been trying to order these tops for almost 3months now lol. Hoepfully get them soon. ;D

I have some stuff to order from them and have never done it yet. A friend has ordered stuff through them and never had problems. Happy ordering and gift receiving!
