Theres a cat near me who seems to be homeless. Nearly every night I see him out in all weathers and sometimes wet. Last night when I got home at about 1am he was sleeping under someones car. He's really friendly and always comes up to me when he sees but I can't possibly have a cat because of my other animals. What do I do? Tell the RSPCA? I can't be sure that he is a stray but he does seem to be.

Maybe you could put a box in the garden/yard for him maisie and see if he takes up in it? If you phone the RSPCA they'll just lift him and put him down

Maybe you could take a piccie and attach it to posters. He could have got himself lost, or tell the local vets, but leave some food out for him, so he doesn't go hungry.

Yeah I will get him some food tomorrow or he'll probably just be living on mice The box is a good idea or I could use a small rabbit hutch. I hope he'll be ok.

put a collar on him with your phone number on asking "if this cat belongs to anyone" then try to find it a home

contact your local Cats Protection League rep, before being rehomed, the cat will need to be checked (health check and FIV check) , and if necessary neutered
