On the subject has anyone gone to see the DaVinci Code since it opened or planning on going to see it or read it?

Don't know whether I'll get round to seeing it at the cinema but will buy it on DVD when it comes out.
I've got a biography of Leonardo and funnily enough it doesn't mention him having anything to do with a Priory of Sion or whatever they're called.

I have read it and loved it. I did discover that I am a total nerd as I recognised the Fibonacci sequence as it ocurred and got all excited.
I far preferred Angels and Demons and Digital Fortress to Da Vinci Code. There is a reeally cool website to the man who did the ambigrams for Angels and I am thinking about haing a tattoo done on my back of one of them. The man is called John Langdon and I think his is the first site up when you google it. It is well worth a visit, AMbigrams are fantastic!

'Angels and Demons' and the da Vinci code were more or less the same book really though weren't they? I've read Deception Point as well and I thought that was rubbish, although I think by that time I'd just got a little sick of his writing style.
Still, DVC is very entertaining, be interesting to see if the film is any good, I don't think its had an easy ride with the critics.

Deception point was a bit crap (in my opinion). I think I will probably see DVC at some point. A couple of friends have seen it and they said it was brilliant, so who knows?!! I am not always that keen on films of books, I was devestatingly disappointed with the Harry Potter Films and so maybe I should leave the DVC for a bit!
I have to admit that Angels and Demons was a tad similar to DVC... but I liked it anyway!
