I'm having a problem accessing some sites since yesterday for some unknown reason. I've upgraded to IE 7 and downloaded broadband medic, neither can find anything wrong but I just keep getting the white page with the blurb about the websit maybe having technical problems, which it's not as other people are able to access it.
Any ideas what it could be or how I can fix it?

Feral, isn't IE7 a beta, which I wouldn't trust for something as fundamental as a browser. I'd uninstall it, install another browser (IE6 or the legendary firefox maybe) and see how you get on. My IE6 works ok, apart from the veggiewristbands site. Seriously . Hmmm, IE7 not letting you near the Mozilla website. No conspiracy theories there... ;D

I had IE 6 veggie, don't think I changed any setting on my pooter but yesterday it stopped connecting me to certain sites and stopped letting me see certain images i.e. my own avatar so I upgraded to 7, still didn't work. Finally managed to install firefox but the same problem's there.

I don't think it's the browser now as it's doing it on whatever one I use.

feral- try going up to Tools, Internet Options. Go to the advanced tab, and make sure the box is checked under multimedia that says "show pictures".
not sure about your other problem. have you cleaned out your cache?
