Ten quid says it never happens. Always a risk with Axl!! The last time I saw them it was rescheduled cos he had a hissy fit and locked himself in his paris hotel room for a couple of days I'm kinda hoping he's grown up a bit since then though

Rubes! What do you think of Velvet Revolver? Dont you just love Slash??!! *drools*. Do you think Axls hair is a wig? I do. I think its kind of attached to his bandana or something lol. Also I think hes either been nipped and tucked or had one of those awful face scrub dermobrasion things. ;D.

Velvet Revolver are soooo good - am afraid its Duff that gets my vote though *hubba hubba*!! ;D Not surprising they gave Axl the knock back a couple of months ago when he asked them to reform the original Guns line-up. I honestly don't know what Axl's had done - but he looks a fright - all pink, shiny and a bit stretched *shudders*.....If it's not a wig it's definitely extensions of some kind....I heard a rumour that the bandana is to cover up his rapidly receding hairline!!

Its got an accoustic version of Plush on it as well as the original. I love Plush. I could listen to it forever. His voice sounds amazing on that track. Dont know that other one you mentioned though VBB.

Yes I remember Soul asylum and blind melon - cant recall the cult but then i know ive seen them supporting at a gig so could well of been! Faith no more were one of the best live acts ever - i use to love the singer! It is 'Bullet for my Valentine' supporting. www.bulletformyvalentine1.com/website/html/news.phpWas in Camden today in a shoe shop amd they were playing the greatest hits cd - very loud and everyone was humming/singing along - then went into the Worlds end pub and it was on in there too - seems GnR revival is here Wish i could go but too hard to get to on a work night without transport

Hmm - might have a crack at getting some tickets for this. More the wife's style, but it'll score me some much-needed brown-nosing points Probably all the tickets be gone before we book anything, though

Quite frankly, 'Axl Rose and his band' is not Guns n Roses imo without Slash and Duff etc. I was lucky to see the band in 1992 and they rocked. It was my first big rock showa and being a young lad of 11 it blew me away :>
It will be a miracle if it comes off without Axl refusing to go on stage cos he doesn't have the right champagne in his dressing room etc ;D

Well, I went to see GnR on Tuesday night.....and it was actually quite good!!!! Axl and the rest came on stage on time at around 9.45 and played til just before midnight. Highlight for me was Izzy coming on stage for the last 40 minutes or so *Yay!!* Despite 'technical difficulties' Axl's voice was really great - disappointed with the guitarists though, three of them in total and not a patch on the Izzy/Slash pairing. Bit cheesed off at missing Seb Bach's opening slot - but those who I went with didn't know who he was and preferred to stay in the pub...apparently his set ran for 40 minutes and at least half of it was Skid Row stuff!! Saw Bullet for my Valentine and they were...kind of mediocre at best...not helped by the somewhat crappy sound though All in all, I'm glad I went and even though it's not really G n R anymore as such, it was still great to hear Axl live again!!
