hi all was just wondering if anyone knew what was in tofu ive heard it was mushrooms and somefink but no one seems to know how difficult would it be to make me own because they charge the earth for it in waitrose? cheers rob ;D

somewhat offtopic but i must brag ;D yesterday i found out about dude selling smoked tofu, seitan sossage and smoked seitan under hand [pssst ]. price is 6 euros per kilo, i buyed piece of everything to try it out. well, he get himself a regular customer . best thing is, he's two streets from me and i have free delivery ;D ;D

I wish I could cook Vuycha, sigh, cant you come round to my house and cook me a decent curry. Ive just made one that doesnt taste of ANYTHING. Im useless sob useless.

There, there, I'm coming, just to find my swimming trunks. hmmm vuycha cooking a curry in swimming trunks now theres a vision that will haunt me for ever ;D the secret to a wicked ruby is drum roll fry an onion and garlic in a dash of oil (medium heat"or if you like firemen high heat ";D) add veggies or whatever your making (eg chicken style pieces) fry them until brown add tin of chopped tomms and sauce boil it up and simmer it then when simmering nicely add curry powder if you wait until the rest is done you will taste the curry powder more as it wont be evaporated by the steam will make your eyes pop out lol
