Have just found this article, and to me, from reading it, the pigs seemed to be distressed by having this subjected to them. As the quote says "they were squealing angrily". www.msnbc.msn.com/id/11909622Poor little piggies. What are your opinions on this?

I don't know what to think of it, it's difficult to judge unless you could see first hand how the pigs were treated & whether they enjoy the 'sports' or not.
I'm actually in favour of working animals if they are treated well & enjoy the work. Certain breeds of dog are happier when put to work and most horses tend to enjoy been ridden if treated well by their handlers (I don't include racing in this).
I have no experince with pig 'sports' so really couldn't offer a solid opinion I'm afraid tiggs.

I see it as wrong as it a form of amusement for the humans by forcing animals to what the humans want them to do. In other words it's exploitation of the pigs/piglets.
