I think I may struggle for 5 but here goes I love wholemeal bread Innocent pomegranate and acer cherry smoothie They do say that plain choccy is good for you (stay with me ;D) Hummus of course (I'm not sure its that healthy but I don't care. (Its got calcium in so I reckon it counts) I've started eating hemp oil like taking medicine cos I'm worried about omega 3s, especially with my mental state. I'm only just starting to come round to the idea that it tastes 'unusual' as opposed to 'filthy' so its prob a long way to go before I actually like it

Wholemeal bread Hummus *Is taking her lead off Veggie* Avocado Homemade vegetable soup Pears (but they have to be the rounded, yellow ones, not the long green ones, and they have to be ripe and juicy, not hard. I have very high standards when it comes to pears).

I've started eating hemp oil like taking medicine cos I'm worried about omega 3s, especially with my mental state. I'm only just starting to come round to the idea that it tastes 'unusual' as opposed to 'filthy' so its prob a long way to go before I actually like it Sounds like a good plan. Taking ground flax has completely changed my whole life (tastes pretty good in cereal - especially compared to the vile vile tasting oil). IMO there are an awful lot of vegans/veggies out there who neglect their omega 3 intake - and for some particularly sensitive individuals it can be a massive problem. Do you take flax occasionally as well as hemp (maybe important depending on the amount of 6's you get in the rest of your diet) Have you looked into a vegan DHA supplement as well? With the hemp oil - I mix it with a little agave syrup, balsamic vinegar and mustard. It makes a great salad dressing and is actually pretty tasty that way. Guess you could always eat the shelled seeds too - they taste pretty good in comparison to the oil.

I take the vegan store DEVA omega-3 veggie, from algae as the flax gives me sore boobs. I think it's a good one and worth the price for 3mths supply.
My favorite healthy foods would be
raw organic carrots with hummus sun blushed tomatoes in garlic & olive oil Avocado with anything Organic red apples mango smoothies (with blueberries, raspberries, banana & soy yogurt)

I make half a cup of porridge with 1 cup of soya milk and microwave it for a few minutes. Then I add crushed up: pumpkin and sunflower seeds, brazil nuts and basically whatever else I have in the nuts and seeds cupboard. Add a few desertspoons of that, saltanas or raisins and bananas. That tends to keep me going for hours.
I used to have that every morning, but I get up too late to do it these days. I had it this morning and sometimes have it for lunch if I havent managed to have much breakfast.
Pob makes his porridge with water and swears by it, but I dont fancy that.

I go with oats, raisins, water.
Heat in microwave for a minute or so. Stir. Heat again till it all puffs up. Stir and splash over a little cold soya milk.
It's lovely. Much lighter than if made with soya milk.
