so what do we all think about the vegan food pyramid thingy? i personally NEVER manage to stuff down 5 or more servings of whole grains per day!! i'd do nothing but eat morning, noon and night to achieve that mate! ( not to mention end up weighing a tonne! ) what about 6 servings or more of fruit and veg? i manage that every now and then. now the legumes is pretty easy most days - 2 or more. do you lot think this is a good guide to follow, do you manage this every day?

I try to get 5 or 6 portions of fruit a day and have veg every day.
Nuts and grains.......not always.

This is it - You can read all about it, here - essenes.net/vnutrition.htmI don't pay much attention to 'food pyramids' as they are essentially an extremely simplified way to approach nutrition, and I have developed a more complex understanding of, and approach to, nutrition already.
