Anyone heard about it? Anyone tried it? Basically its a low fat vegan diet that cuts out oil and fats and has helped alot of people lose weight. Some of the recipes look quite yummy. Supposed to be very good for anyone with cardiac problems. www.drmcdougall.com

Yep, should do, and is pretty easy to follow, lots of vegans have done really well on it, and from what I hear is easy to stick to also.

Basically it is a VERY low fat vegan diet that focuses on whole grains, veggies and fruits. NO added oils and only occasional servings of nuts, seeds, avocados etc. Also, little to no processed foods like soy milk or tofu (these are fro the very occasional treat, along with sugar etc.).
It works! It's also very strict, low sugar, low fat, low protein and not very much fun at all. Then again, neither is being over-fat (which I know from experience).
