I agree. I feel better when I take something with omega oils in and my skin and hair is better.
I tend to use The Seed Doctor mixes as they're so yummy, although having said that I ran out of them a while ago. Must remember to go and get some more when I'm next shopping! LOL

Very very odd....... If it happens again, then I will contact the helpdesk when their live support is on. Have sent you a PM on what it could possibly be. Don't worry about it. I just thought it was a cute way of saying tablespoon!

I can use Hemp oil at a furious pace when I have it. I buy 250 ml bottles of organic hemp oil, and find that it goes extremely well in hummous (I make my own ;D) , smoothies and soup, or liberally poured all over steamed rice, vegetables, etc - all of which I can add loads of hemp oil to, and I reckon that it tastes great in all of these. Hemp is overall great stuff for taking in Omega 3 and 6 (omega 7 and 9 aren't EFAs, so I'm not so fussy about them) , and I like eating hemp-y snack-bars, and stuff like that. Virgin Coconut Oil is another truly exceptional oil to consume. It's really nutritious, although it can be a bit weird to have with some things due to its unique coconutty flavour - I rather like the way that it gives a sweet touch to soup, though.

I take those Omega 3, 6 and 9 capsules. I also have a ground up mixture of pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, hemp seeds, poppy seeds and brazil nuts on my porridge every morning with a banana and organic raisins. However, I have aches and pains everywhere at the moment, so somethings obviously not working. Im creaking like a rusty old bed.

so what is the difference between hemp and cannabis (de wacky baccie man) from www.artistictreasure.com/learnmorehemp.html"What is the difference between Hemp and Marijuana?Looks Hemp and Marijuana look alike except for the way they're grown. Hemp is planted 300 seeds per square yard to maximize the number and thickness of stalks. Marijuana growers do the opposite they plant one or two seeds per square yard and maximize branches, leaves, and flowers where most THC resides. Hemp's THC content is too low to produce a high. Of the 1.54 billion cannabis plants destroyed by U.S. drug agents from 1993 to 1997, only 14 million plants were marijuana. The other 99.1% were low THC hemp that grows wild. USA TODAY 10/7/98 section 13A Chemical Make-up Most of the psychoactive properties of marijuana can be attributed to its content of a cannabinoid (Fig. 1a) named delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol (THC). In some literature, it is designated as delta-1-tetrahydrocannabinol due merely to a conflict between two methods of naming chemicals, but it is the very same molecule. Modern hemp varieties are nearly devoid of THC and, therefore, cannot be practically diverted into the drug trade. Hemp has been heavily selected for high fiber content, high stalk yield, high seed yield, and low (<0.3 %) inflorescence THC content (de meijer et al. 1992). Drug-type Cannabis varies widely in THC content from approximately 1-2% in unselected strains to over 10% in the best modern varieties (Watson 1994). It is not feasible to "get high" on hemp, and most marijuana produces very little low-quality fiber. Hemp should never be confused with marijuana, as their roles cannot be reversed. "

Is it necessary to take extra Omegas? More so than what we get in foods? I'm trying to think and it seems the only Omega oils I have seen in pill form has been gelcaps. I used to take them, but was taking about 15 pills or more a day, so I cut back on some. I get tired of taking so many things all the time, but I know I really should.

I use nice splash of linseed oil and/or walnut oil on my salads and other things. I usually have a tablespoon of mixed seeds (sunflower, pumpkin, linseed) on my nutbutter sandwiches. I also read that tofu has omegas in it, so all the more reason for me to eat my tofu.
