***Please support and forward to as many people as possible*** A PEACEFUL demonstration is planned outside the Tesco Head Office on Monday 29th Jan at 12 o'clock - New Tesco House, Delamare Road, Cheshunt, Herts EN8 9SL. Hopefield is run by 2 amazing elderly people Ernie (80) and Paula (73) and the stress is taking a toll on their health too Tesco are putting the land up for sale NEXT WEEK which means Hopefield will have no choice and have to wind down and will not be able to give a safe home to any more unwanted and rescued animals. This is a death sentence for 72 Horses and over 100 other animals. The Essex Enquirer newspaper estimated that the land would be the equivalent to 30 minutes profit - ironically Hopefield buy their food for Tesco each week and would even be happy to call the sanctuary Tescos Animal Sanctuary. Please join Hopefield and air your concerns in a polite way to Sir Terry Leahy, Chief Executive, Tesco Many people have also sent back their Tesco Clubcard in support of the animals and Ernie and Paula Please support this demonstration and please do pass to as many people as possible For further details please check out the website - I am unable to help with all the emails so for any questions please call Hopefield www.hopefield.org.uk/New Tesco House, Delamare Road, Cheshunt, Herts EN8 9SL.

Did anyone from here go to this demo? I'd have liked to go but it was a bit too far from Manchester. I spoke to Paula on the phone regarding raising the cash to buy the land. Unfortunately the cost is around £750,000
