Whether its simply agreeing with their principles, or giving an actual donation from time to time, or going on demos..... who do you support. I support Animal Aid....... will hopefully be going on their sponsored walk this summer to raise money. PETA. ALF, I know alot of people don't agree with their principles, and I am not involved in any of their work but at least they do get stuff done! SPEAK campaigns...... Will be going to the World Animals Day on 22nd April hopefully. Who's next?!

i like the animal liberation front
i think them lot (you know who you are) that break into the farms and testing centres and set the animals free and trash the place, are modern day robin hoods
the womble is wearing a balaclava and frogman flippers

I'm not sure about PETA after they gave an award to Body Shop AFTER Body Shop had been bought by L'Oreal, and tI've heard bad things about the Dogs Trust. I've been trying to get active with animal rights etc but the groups I contact don't seem to be interested in being active, maybe all the activists are in london

I do know of someone in the West Mids that is pretty active with animal rights groups, but don't know if she's anywhere near you. Can always ask if you like?

Currently I'm only a member of the Vegan Society, however, I admire BUAV and am very interested in Europeans for Medical Progress. I think PETA are a little unfocused myself and sorry, not a big fan of ALF. Animal Aid seem cool although haven't seen that much of what they do.
You have to admire SPEAK for sheer persistence!

I support all the groups mentioned but I think ALF direct action is what works best to make a difference for animals. I've been trying to get active with animal rights etc but the groups I contact don't seem to be interested in being active, maybe all the activists are in london www.veggies.org.uk/acd/europe/uk/england/countyw.htm#WMid is an excellent link to local AR groups, quite a few in the West Midlands.

You can find many examples on the internet of the same. Don't believe everything you read in the paper. The ALF save lives not take them, remember that.

I support the animal rights movement and am an avid supporter of animals rights. I do not agree with some groups that openly admit to be for animal rights yet they clearly are more animal welfare groups. I do not believe in kill policy of some groups and for that reason alone I wouldn't give support in the forum of donations although I do admire most of their work for animals however misguided it maybe sometimes. These groups include PETA and the RSPCA I support the large campaigning groups such as Animal Aid and the BUAV etc but as above I do not offer donations for the simple reason they do it as a job and earn a wage but I support them in every other way I can. The main groups who I support are SHAC and SPEAK. Mel , Greg, Natasha and Heather have been the biggest influence on me. My life changed when I grew to know these people. They are dedicated to animals and they all eat, sleep and poop animals rights. To put your life on hold for a cause takes a very special person. I recommend everyone to spend a day with any of them. They do it for the animals suffering and they do it on a shoe string, all money donated goes into the pocket of the animals. Local campaign group I support are SARCs although they are 450 miles away from me

Just about all of them really - even the wishy-washy ones try and make things better till the decent ones manage to actually stop things happening. Though it's sometimes tricky - with CIWF campaigns for example, whilst it's better to make cages bigger until the bages can be abolished, I wonder if making them bigger can actually delay setting the animals free?
