That after toying with veganism on and off for a few months you guys have convinced me.
It is gonna happen. I'm gonna buy some recipe books (I have a bit of a fetish for them) and give it a go.
I have to say that I am going to use up some of the stuff in my fridge first as I hate wasting food. Will give some away though.

I have done it...my first day as a vegan. I raided the health food shop and got loads of stuff.
Love the redwood chicken style pieces I got, but they are full of fat!

Welcome to the forum Roslily. Yep, I'd second the parsleysoup site. Still gotta get around to trying that hedgehog chocolate cake of hers, although it would probably turn out looking like something completely unrecognisable.

I am a cookery book collector myself. Most of them are vegetarian, but the recipes are easy to veganise. You do not need to throw your old books away, unless the things are hard to veganise or you do not feel like converting the animal ingredients (meat, fowl, fish) over and over again. I threw a lot of books away for that reason when we were moving house.
