Hi Found this fab website www.gentlebodycare.co.ukthat sells a number of vegetarian and vegan approved hair and skin care products such as Herbatint hair dye, John Masters Organics, Natural Elements skincare and even Fragrance Free products which are great for those who may be of a sensitive skin disposition, like me! The website is even running a special offer on some of its products and postage is free within the UK!

Not everything there is animal product free, though, so lookout for products which contain silk, or honey, and possibly other "vegetarian" substances that are not vegan.

just sent awesumhair an email. on their site they say they dont test on animals but products are lab tested. so i ask what they mean, does the lab test on lab animals and are the ingredients test on animals at all.

got a reply from awesumhair and she says "none of the products or ingredients are tested on animals" and that she makes them herself and she tests them on herself and sometimes her friends test the products.
so i think now its down to trust, do we trust this person is telling the truth. i think she sounds genuine, but ive never met her, so i dont know !

Maybe by lab tested she means challenge tested, which if she makes her products she would have to have done on anything that contained water! It's a stability test and tests for effectiveness of the preservative against mould etc.

yep maybe.
its really difficult to know tho who you can trust. for all i know she may not be a she, it could be a company who does test on animals.
