Anyone watching this right now? I've seen it before but is still just as sad second time around. Am talking to my friend on msn and told her to watch it... she did, she saw the calfs being shot... but said she still wants a mcflurry... I dont get it, how can you not be affected by it? shallow springs to mind.

I dont get it, how can you not be affected by it? shallow springs to mind. Yeah I'm trying to understand this too, I've thought about it a lot lately. I've come to the conclusion that some things are more important to some people than others. For example my ethics towards animals are much stronger than any other issue which is why I'm vegan and I won't buy anything thats been tested on animals. However one thing I do feel guilty about is that I love Primark. I know I shouldn't be supporting sweatshops and I do feel bad for those people who made them but the amount of new clothes I can get from there for a small amount of cash is amazing and outweighs the guilt I feel for shopping there And they have some gorgeous knickers for £1 I reckon there must be people who would never shop there on principle but who aren't vegan. So do you see what I mean? We're none of us perfect model ethical people. We're just human.

I know, its awful. If I focus on that too much I end up hating people, and I have to stop hating people as its been eating me up ever since I got into animal rights. This is why I've been trying to be more understanding of others lately.
