My carnivore husband has finally realised that bringing a baby/child up on a vegetarian diet is better ;D when I pushed for vegan he wasn't too keen but said if I can prove the child will have a well balanced and healthy diet then fine ;D. Im not pregnant yet but OMG I'm jumping for joy so I need help from you guys of facts and figures or refer me to sites regarding this - I need hard evidence

Fabulous thanks for that. A vegan baby blog I will do quite happily when the time comes I'm chuffed to bits my husbands come round to this way of thinking - though the programme a few days ago on channel 4 about meat and dairy farming helped convince him too.

Some more reading materials from Viva. Hmph, you've gone and made me all broody now . Minxy don't even think about it at your age. You're far too young. Get out and have a life first before tying yourself down to all that drudgery *wags finger at Minxy*. I had my first son at 21 but if I had my time again I wouldn't have kids until at least 28.

Yes Maisie . I wasn't seriously considering it. It's just a conflict between the logical and instinctive sides of my brain. Logic tells me I should wait a good few years before even thinking about it, my hormones want me to have a baby now . *Takes contraceptive pill*.

Yeah I know what you mean. Those teenage hormones are a nightmare. I remember I was so jealous of my pregnant friend when we were 15. I wanted a baby so bad. The only thing that stopped me was my shyness with boys and I couldn't get a boyfriend

Thanks for all the infor guys, appreciate it.
I have to add though that I have started fertility treatment as been trying for 4 years so don't get too excited that there will be a vegan baby blog from me any time soon!

Mystical Witch congrats on the new baby plans but did you know that fertility treatment makes you like you've got PMT but 100 times worse? My friend and her partner split up because she turned into psycho bitch from hell. She was really upset that the hospital didn't tell her this would happen so they could be prepared. I hope your hubby is an understanding guy who will make allowances.
