I would really appreciate any views and opinions from your goodselves please Every year a few of us do the refreshment stall at Freshfields Animal Rescue (near Liverpool), just general stuff like teas and coffees, hotdogs, crisps, icecreams and ice lollies and sweeties, all vegan as Freshies has a very strong AR and vegan ethic. This year Freshies have asked that I take back the cake stall (I did that until it got too big for 1 person) and also do some sandwiches and a big pan of something. Veggies will be there doing burgers and pastries and cakes too. So what I would like to know is what would you like to eat if you were at the open day ? I dont want to do anything thats going to tread on Veggies toes, and the food needs to be "normal" as the vast majority of visiters are very omni. Also needs to be fairly cheap to make and easy to serve (about 1500 through the door). For the sandwiches was thinking of the realeat cheatin things and for the pan of something, maybe a chilli to go over rice or in a baked potato (can rig up a microwave) ? Any suggestions at all muchly appreciated. Thank you
