Do any exist? I'd like something for keeping my whites white rather than the dull grey they're becoming but would prefer something environmentally friendly. I don't use ecover because of their 5yr rolling rule.

Oooh, that stuff looks good!
Should be able to use that to clean the toilet, too, I reckon. According to Wikipedia it turns into Peroxide + alkali in water, so it will kill germs and shift most stains without being a pollutant.
I think there is an Oxi Clean that is the same stuff, too. Wonder if there are any generic versions, as it is only one chemical.
Where did you get it and how much was it?

Thanks maisie pob if you find some near you will you let me know? I could get some when we're over with you, there's little chance of me sourcing it here but I'll still have a look.

There are a few places to order it online - it costs 2.80 But I expect postage to not be cheap Just found out that Astonish do one, too. Astonish Oxy Plus Stain Remover. That might be easier to find.

Most online stores charge and extra £5 on top of normal postage to carry to NI, that's IF they deliver here

I've just saw a suggestion on another forum for soaking whites in sodium bicarbonate, might be worth a try.

I hate cleaning toilets so I've been using normal bleach I got it at Unicorn Grocery and it was 1.79

So have we, because the non-bleach cleaners just don't get the limescale off. I used to use peroxide toilet bleach in the 90's and it worked fine, but they stopped making it.

I'm glad someone else is. I've been feeling guilty about it. I really want to stop using it if I can find something halfway decent

I've heard that bleach only bleaches the limescale, some people use denture tablets in their loo.
