WORLD DAY FOR LAB ANIMALS 2007 A day for the animals, a day for solidarity and a day of action!
Every week, unbeknown to passengers, frightened animals are shipped in the cargo holds of planes destined for a life of hell inside vivisection breeders and laboratories. Animals are kept in crates amongst everyday items and flown around the world.
Manchester International Airport is the main gateway for lab animals in the North of England, but the creatures passing through go across the UK and world. Beagle dogs, rodents and birds have all been known to be imported and exported through MIA for controversial companies including B&K Universal and Huntingdon Life Sciences.
These animals are going to spend the rest of their lives caged inside laboratories being gassed and poisoned to death; or at a breeders being forced to give birth to litter after litter of offspring until evenually killed.

World Day for Laboratory Animals 2007 is going to be held in Manchester with a march and rally around the town centre as part of a coalition between NARN, SHAC and Gateway to Hell. Please come along and help make a large presence and show Manchester Airport the opposition to the sickening trade they are involved in.
