I thought it would be useful for us to post any vegan stuff that is on special offer or a really good deal that we find while shopping, or online so we can let each other know. Am off to the supermarket in a bit, so if I find any bargains, will report back.

Just had an Asda near me open up this week so toddled off down there this afternoon and the vegan bargains of the moment if anyone has a local Asda are:
Fresh chilled Alpro Soya down to 78p from £1.25
and
2 backs of Cauldron Tofu for £1..... Yes Tabs you're probably cringing at the thought, but stocked up on that. ;D

Not necessarily Tigs! Ive only ever found the silken type and thats the one that made me gag. Ive since learnt from the forums that silken tofu isnt any good for savoury dishes? and something about freezing it and squeezing it etc. Im going to give it another try. *goes to Asda*

Tabs if you can get the hold of the relate chicken style pieces they are lovely... I don't like them just threw into the mix but if you squeeze the moisture out ot them and fry them in a drop of olive oil before adding they're much nicer.

Not particularly a bargain BUT have just bought some Morrisons Coconut Cookies (part of their new free from range) and they are fantastic, crumbly, coconutty, oaty goodness - and all for 99p (so they are quite a bargain really I guess!!) - also available are raspberry cookies and stem ginger cookies

Not a bargain, but not been available for a while:
Organic fairtrade brown basmati rice from Sainsbury. How guilt-free can you get?
When they switched to fairtrade, they only had the white stuff for ages. So it's great that they now have the brown again.

Don't normally shop in Aldi as the majority of their stuff is rubbish, but I read over on another board that they have fresh choc soya milk in the chilled section, fortified with vitamins, a litre for 59p. Tastes exactly like the chilled Alpro one and is addictive.
They also have the normal chilled soya milk for the same price.

I don’t think Aldi in the U.S. sells soymilk. They once had some cheap organic frozen veggies and fruits for 89 cents per bag.
