Any vegan cyclists out there? Or mono or tricyclists? Where/why do you cycle, for fun or transport or both? What bike(s) have you got? Post pics if you like!
Say it together now, ENGINES ARE FOR WIMPS ;D

If it weren't for me obvious limitations I would be into the old cycling malarkey veggie, tis a great way to see the country. I've said that whenever I'm able I'm going to do a sponsored cycle somewhere, looking forward to it . God bless all you town cyclists who constantly get in my way... I may be shouting obscenities out the window as you've passed me on the inside for the 4th time in 200 mtrs but I loves ya really

I keep thinking about getting in to it. I used to cycle all over as a kid.

Oooh no sonner have I started this thread than an important news item comes in. The London Critical Mass ride was plagued by Police claiming it was illegal under terror laws cos the route wasn't notified in advance. This has now officially benn declared to be B******s. See link below. www.criticalmasslondon.org.uk/

Ooh interesting site Veggie.
I only actually learnt to ride a bike a couple of years ago as fell off and hit my head as a kid and never got back on again.
It took tears, falls, bumps, and adult embarrassment relearning as am not the most co-ordinated, but do like to go out quite a bit for a ride down the Thames from time to time, and have just recently bought a new saddle for my bike as my bum was getting sore.
Am too scared to ride on the roads though.

The Critical Mass case could possible have positive implications for AR demos/gatherings so I thought it was well worth putting up.
I've not ridden much myself recently, not riding into work cos the tram tracks are well dangerous and not doing much weekend cycling cos got well into the photography recently. But will be back on 2 wheels again soon!

I'd like a Triumph Rocket. Brrrm brrrm. What a beast. The engine capacity is bigger than any car I've ever driven. It could power a Spitfire.

Yes thats allowed. As long as you unbolt the engine, leave it at the top of the hill and fit some pedals.
