As promised, I've been messing around, and somehow, we have a semi-decent skin for the forum. I chose green cos it seems very vegany and natural. Can you let me know if you love it or hate it..... promise I wont be offended........ still working on a logo!

Thanks Fauxmage! Thought it looked a bit more cheerful than the clinical white I had before. Was a nightmare to do!

Yes Tigs, this green is realy soothinng, not hurting the eyes like flashy green (80's style LOL). Just have to remember not to use tcertain font colours unless BOLD I think... We'll have to mess around & try each & see the results, if the words are even readable... result 1, as I saw the other day, light pink cannot be seen...

OK, have just got up and am completely confused. What colour is this forum to you people? It was entirely green at work and on my pc at home is a boring grey and green. Confused? ?

Its funny, sometimes its deep green and sometimes its pale, depending on how you look at it. Sounds a bit like life really.

Browsers often account for the differences. When I first started forumming, I had a browser that wouldn't support animated gifs. and I never even knew it until I used another computer with a different browser and saw what I had been missing.

with OSX versions of iExplorer, Firefox and Safari it's a pastel green before logging in, and an astonishing heavy shade of green after logging in, like this - edit - oh for crying out loud ! no way ! The above link is broken because this forum's filter-software has edited the address for the link,l causing it to no longer link to where the picture is. that is ridiculous. The shade of green can be seen if you put this URL into your browser - i27.photobucket.com/albums/c186/Astropussycat/sogreen.jpgbut that's A s t r o p u s s y c a t there instead of the stupid "girlthingycat" stuff.

Thanks Astrocat, will look when I get home, damn work pc has filtered your page, for some reason. Have uncensored your Astropussycat now so you can say it as much as you like lol. Fauxmage, think thats what happened with me, cos on the works PC the skin looked lovely yet when I got home it was grey and yucky...... wierd.

;D Thanks, Tigger ! Ah, i should note though that the actual shade of green is a bit brighter, darker and more deep than the one i posted. Which is odd. I just took a screenshot, snipped out a square of the colour, JPGed it at high quality, and uploaded it - but i guess something must have been lost in the process ah well, you can imagine the kind of thing anyway, it's a bit like bottle green but lighter.

Arrrgh! Just as well, would no have wanted it to have been that shocking turquoise..... bottle green I can cope with. Thanks!
Having said that am working at a different station today and have logged on and the background is nearly white here, very odd!
