as if we need any more covincing this evil place needs closing down : PLEASE BE THERE ON THE 19TH AUGUST , ITS WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE OF HULL TRAIN STATION. www.narn-online.com/news/06_08_06.htmlThe following article was printed in Today magazine and lead to a campaign against Humberside Airport; later resulting in the airport board stopping all transport of animals for vivisection and the shippers, TNT International, also adopted the same policy. Today, B&K continue to sell animals for torture and export to Europe, even sending guinea-pigs to as far away as Thailand. Now is the time to take action against the firm - be there in Hull on Saturday 19th August and help close down B&K once and for all! YOUR MONEY CAN'T BUY BEAGLES' LIVES Today magazine A Business man offered nearly £10,000 pounds to save beagles being flown to their deaths in laboratory experiments. But managing director Brian Marson's attempt to buy the 25 dogs was turned down by the firm who breeds them. Mr Marson made his offer after spotting the beagles, worth £300 each, at Humberside airport as they were being flown to Sweden. The companies involved in the vile vivisection trade had to switch to air consignments. Ferry firms banned dog exports in September after 79 suffocated at sea in nightmare conditions. Now bosses at Humberside airport are to see whether they can enforce a similar clampdown on the trade. Mr Marson saw the dogs as they waited for a flight to Gothenburg, Sweden, on Thursday. The beagles were on their way to labs owned by Hassle, a subsidiary of Astra AB - where the 79 which died were headed. He desperately told animals breeders Bantin & Kingman that he would match the death labs' price. But the deal was rejected by a manager travelling with the consignment. About a dozen animal rights campaigners managed to delay the flight for about an hour. Yesterday Mr Marson, boss of Speedbird Handling, an air freight company at the airport said "I would have paid anything to stop those poor beagles being sent out to Sweden. "I think the way they are treated in experiments is despicable"
