Just found this info on the Viva website and as its in a few weeks time, maybe some of you will go to it. Saturday 6th May 2006, 11am March and Rally to Stop Live Animal Exports After a 10 year hiatus, and despite huge public opposition, Britain's unwanted male dairy calves will once again be shipped long distances to suffer in Continental veal crates. We must act NOW to stop it. Farmers have lobbied the Government relentlessly for the resumption of calf exports. We need to show politicians that most people are appalled at this trade and want it banned. Please join the demonstration in Dover and help send a strong message to the Government.
