I got to hear the other point of view on (illegal) direct action. Also picked up ideas for legal activities I didn't have one particular favourite workshop - they were all great and useful. I went to all 3 workshops on legal issues surrounding AR. Yes Simon is good when it comes to interpreting the law. We missed our slot for the tent for the workshop on our case surrounding the new laws. It would have been an interesting workshop. Yes direct action has many strings to it bow. I am interested in your views on it and if your mind was changed in anyway through others points of view. Did you get to see saucys staring role in the video tent?

Hello folks I'm back! Had a truly amazing time and have come back determined to do more AR stuff. It was great to meet people I know from online - Pob, Saucy, Vaiovegan, Kevster, Nadine and one of my myspace friends Vegan Angel. Unfortunately I had to come back to a load of shit. Police had been round to my house coz my son shot someone in the head with a BB gun and her father had been bashing on my door threatening my son. The house was an absolute tip and the gate had been left open giving the rabbits chance to escape. Luckily they didn't. I wish I didn't have to deal with all this now after being relaxed for 4 days

Sounds like you all had a brill time. Will definitely be there next year.
Excellent excuse for going abroad anyway!
Those deer piccies are amazing Vaiovegan. Would love to be able to get that close to a deer. Was that the 3 legged one everyone was on about.
Sorry to hear about all your troubles MaisiePaisie. Hope everything sorts itself out soon (((Hugs)))

I didn't see the video with Saucy in I didn't get any snogs either. The deer in the pic is the 3 legged one - he's missing his back right leg.

Pob, it was just a clip of me, handbag bashing which I think uv seen before. Vaio slowed it right down tho so u could see it clearly. That deer came into our gate tent and trashed the place....so sweet. Did u see all the straw outside the gate tent? That was the hens taking over and looking for corn. At one time, I had two of them sat on my lap eating my sarnie.....(rolls eyes)

Ah - I did see that film. I didn't recognise it was you doing the handbagging, though I loved the film with Mrs Vaio in it - nice soundtrack, too. Hmmm - nice save blaming the chickens for the hay spread all over the place

Thanks Tabs and Saucy. My son who did the shooting is normally the well behaved one. Its the older one who causes me no end of problems with the authorities.
Saucy I missed that clip of you with the handbag. I remember someone saying it was shown in the Mad about animals documentary. Is that right? I never saw it there either but still have it on tape.

Very sad news, I'm afraid. Lee-Roy died peacefully in his sleep, last week. RIP, baby.

I'm intrigued. The website says it is celebrating 'our movement's 25th anniversary'. Was there no AR in the US before 1981??
