Thanks Tabs. Im still drunk from last night. I found a hen in my car and one in my tent.....also had a run in with a massive pig named Jaquilyn, who came into our gate tent and knocked the table over with everything on it. It was so cool to see them all running around free. I didnt go to any of the talks. We just pregnant doged and drank all weekend and watched people getting off with each other. I did learn how to make a campfire and erm...roll a "ciggy" tho so not totally wasted!! Excellent! Have you mastered the art of rolling a neat ciggie? Its taken me years to master that.

Yes but Tigs! theyve left Pob there all alone! Saucy and Kev came back last night. Imagine Poor Pob's face when he woke up this morning and the field was empty except for him. *Imagines Pob crying and gets really upset for the little fella* Oh come on!!! Im joking! ;D

Noooo I cant make a good "ciggie" yet....but have lots of friends around that can do it for me Pob sat with me one night getting drunk....the rest of the time, I caught glimpses of him eating and coming back with cups of tea looking slightly worse for wear. Tigs, it was wicked but im paying the price now cos im feeling really rough.....cant wait for next years..... (there was lots of snogging going on but Im not allowed to mention names)

They say "a picture speaks a thousand words" so here is a thousand on the AR2006 Gathering.

He (the 3 legged deer) was very gorgeous. Had a fantastic time! Averaged about 3 hours sleep per night (and about 10 pints). Went to loads and loads of the workshops, spent time chatting to Saucy, Kevster, Maisie, Nadine (from VF) and hubby, and VaioVegan. I knew loads of other people there, and made some new friends, too

Yeah it was brill weather. It rained a bit one night, but was dry by morning. But last night and today has been a touch moist - turned into a bit of a quagmire.
Anarchist Teapot provided the food, and it was excellent. Really good, healthy, balanced vegan food (3 meals for £5 a day - how good is that?)

I think they reckoned around 600 in total, though not everyone was there all the time.

Yes it was another great gathering although I didn't have the time to spend with all the peep's who I have met on the forum Pob totally messed up my "minds eye" of him and took some adjusting. Nice to meet you by the way, I wish I didn't have to drive all the way back home each day because all the best fun is at night in the beer tent, by the fire and down at the front gate where all the hardcore boozers and fun makers are. Oh well, next time will have lots of night time fun. I drove 1500 miles in total to get to the gathering each day but it was worth it. Next gathering is not going to be in the UK so start saving up peep's. Oh and England gathering 2006 team won the world cup. Italy 3 England 4

I learned loads and had lots of fun.
There were sooo many great workshops, I really wish it would have been possible to see all of them. (They clashed, so it wasn't possible)

I got to hear the other point of view on (illegal) direct action. Also picked up ideas for legal activities
I didn't have one particular favourite workshop - they were all great and useful. I went to all 3 workshops on legal issues surrounding AR.
